Paragliding World Cup Womens Champion 2011: Petra Slívová

Congratulations to Petra Slívová (CZ) on retaining her title of Paragliding World Cup Womens Champion after 9 hard tasks at the World Cup Superfinal in Valle de Bravo, Mexico. Petra is women's champion for the 5th time! The GIN team pilots battled hard on the Boomerang X and there were task wins for Hans Bollinger and Ulrich Prinz.

GIN pilots win in the Brazilian Nationals

After a year of intense competitions, the dedication of the GIN Brazil team pilots has paid off. Gustavo Agne de Oliveira won the serial class and Domenica Tcacenco won the women's class. Both pilots were flying the Boomerang GTO. Thanks and congratualations!

Klaudia Bulgakow: Polish Female champion

Well done to Klaudia for winning the Polish female championship at the Jelkin Hram Open in Kobarid, Slovenia on 20-27 August. The competition was a combination of the Polish and Lithuanian championships.

Primoz Susa: 2011 Slovenian League Champion

Pre-PWC Macedonia: Cortella + GIN Boom GTO v comp wings

The pre-PWC in Krushevo, Macedonia (31st July-6th August) was run with Open Class comp wings. But some pilots like Denis Cortella chose to fly Serial class. The results were interesting. Denis was 2nd overall on the GIN GTO. 

German Open: Ulrich and Yassen win on the Boomerang 8 and GTO

Congratulations to Ulrich Prinz and Yassen Savov on their wins, in open and serial classes respectively, at the German Open in Lenggries (June 20th-26th). 3 tasks were flown and several days featured strong winds at higher altitudes.

Xevi and Fran 1st and 2nd in the Spanish League on the Boomerang 8

Xevi Bonet continued his recent good form with a win in the Spanish Liga held in Castejón de Sos held May 20-22. Fran Reina was 2nd.

2011 PWC Asian Champion: Ayumu Miyata, Boomerang 8

The 2nd PWC of 2011 was held in Mungyeong, Korea from 14th to 21st May. The winner of the Asian Championship, Ayumu Miyata (Japan - Boomerang 8) was well placed in the overall ranking in 7th. Suyong Pi (Korea), also flying the Boomerang 8, ranked 3rd (13th overall).

Jamie Messenger wins again on the Boomerang 8 in Germany

Jamie Messenger won the 'Franz Wanger Cup' at the Breitenberg, Germany. It was the first round of the German Nationals, and Jamie finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd on the three days to win comfortably.
